The Alhambra

A palace that was built in 1200 by Nasrid dynasty and completed by Yussuf 1 and Mohammed V, where it was a resident of the Arab monarchs. The words Alhambra means " red castle". In 1492, it was conquered by the Catholic Monarch. The palace is surrounded by luscious garden with delicately-worked  fountain and small mater spouts. Outside the Alhambra but linked to it, is the summer residence of the Nasrid which is called Generalife.
